Dell APEX PCaaS combines Dell AI PCs with lifecycle services, helping organizations manage deployment, security, support, and refreshes through a subscription. In a Forrester study based on a composite organization with 4,000 devices and 8,000 peripherals over 36 months, the model was associated with a need for 3 fewer IT FTEs for device lifecycle management. The study also reported a 6-month payback. Results depend on the organization and the assumptions detailed in the full study.

Dell AI PCs with Intel Core Ultra processors can let developers handle some tasks directly on their devices, which may help avoid cloud consumption costs for AI modeling. Dell APEX PCaaS also supports regular device refreshes, so businesses can provide newer hardware without managing each lifecycle step on their own. The Forrester study describes potential benefits; actual savings depend on how a business uses AI and its existing infrastructure.

Businesses can get started by choosing hardware, adding software and services, and selecting subscription terms with Dell Payment Solutions. Depending on the agreement, customers may renew at the end of the contract or return the equipment. Payment solutions are subject to eligibility, credit approval, availability, and other terms; businesses can contact a Dell Technologies sales representative for details.
